Disney has had a long and illustrious history, and its current CEO is a black man. Bob Chapek is the current CEO of The Walt Disney Company and was appointed to the role in February 2020.
Chapek has been with Disney for over 25 years and has held various positions within the company. Before becoming CEO, he was Disney Parks, Experiences and Products president. He oversaw the company’s theme parks, resorts, cruises, and consumer products divisions in this role.
Chapek is passionate about giving back to the community and has participated in several philanthropic initiatives. He has served on the boards of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the United Way of Central Florida, and the Central Florida Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
